Getting paid — FAQ
Eligibility
Can I get paid without a US company?
Yes. You can open a Maash USD account in your own name from 214 countries — no US company and no US bank account needed. It comes with a real US account number and routing number that platforms and clients pay like any other.
Platforms
Which platforms can pay me through Maash?
Any platform that pays out to a US bank account can pay your Maash account — Amazon KDP, Deel, Freelancer.com, Patreon, Toptal, and Upwork among them, and many more.
Details
Do I get a real US account number to give a platform?
Yes. Your USD account has its own account number and ACH and wire routing numbers. You add them to a platform’s payout settings exactly like any US bank account.
International
Can someone outside the US pay me?
Yes. Beyond your US account, you can also hold EUR, GBP, and AED accounts in your own name, and money paid into any of them lands as dollars in your balance. Someone else paying you — a client, an employer, a marketplace — works on USD and AED accounts, and on USD, EUR, and AED for business accounts. See how each currency receives on the Receive in USD, EUR, GBP & AED page.
Speed
How long does a payment take to arrive?
Two things set the timing: when the platform releases the payout, and the rail it sends over — usually ACH from a US platform. Once it is sent, arrival depends on the sending bank; the speed for each currency is on the Receive in USD, EUR, GBP & AED page.
Cost
What does it cost to get paid?
There’s no fee to open or hold an account. Receiving is 0.5% for business and 1% for personal — the full schedule is public on our pricing page.
