Availability
Where is Maash available?
You can open a Maash account — personal or business — from any of 230 countries at app.getmaash.com. In 214 of them that includes a US-dollar account. Identity verification applies, and some countries need additional checks at signup.
Receiving
Can I receive a client payment from outside the US, EU, UK, or UAE?
Bank-transfer collection is currently supported from those four regions. Beyond them, a client can still pay you — if they’re also on Maash, or through the options on our Accept payments page — and it arrives as dollars, with no geographic limit other than sanctioned countries.
Fees
Is there a flat fee for receiving a payment by bank transfer?
There is no flat fee to receive USD, EUR, GBP. AED payments have a $5 flat fee, charged per payment regardless of the amount.
Limits
What are the minimum and maximum amounts I can receive?
Each account has a small minimum per payment: $2 for USD, EUR, GBP; $7 for AED. A personal US-dollar account can receive up to $4,000 per payment from an individual. Maash doesn’t publish a set maximum for a business US-dollar account, EUR, GBP, and AED.
Speed
How fast does a received payment arrive?
It depends on the sending bank. A US-dollar account is paid by ACH, FedNow, or wire — from the same business day, and in seconds where the sender’s bank supports FedNow. Euro arrives over SEPA the same business day, or in seconds with SEPA Instant. Pounds over Faster Payments arrive within minutes, and dirham by local bank transfer the same business day.
Safety
Can Maash freeze or hold my money?
No. Only you can move your money — Maash can’t spend, move, or freeze your balance. The dollars behind it are fully reserved — held one-for-one, redeemable for dollars, with reserves independently attested each month. Your account is secured with a passkey, and Maash is registered with FinCEN as a Money Services Business.
ACH
Does the US-dollar account accept ACH from US clients?
Yes. In 214 countries you can open a US-dollar account — a named account in your own name, not pooled, with its own US routing number — so US clients pay you by ACH, no US company on your side. Personal and business accounts both get one.
