Poplin in your AI assistant.
Ask Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants about Poplin’s fees, exchange-rate estimates and coverage, answered from Poplin’s own published figures.
You don’t need an account or to sign in. If you already have a Poplin account, you can also let your assistant read it.
Add Poplin
In any assistant that lets you add a connector by its address, add:
https://mcp.poplinmoney.com/public
Check the address before you add it. Poplin publishes its connector addresses only on this page.
What you can ask
- What a payment to a bank account abroad costs, and how much arrives
- How many US dollars arrive when a client pays into a Poplin receiving account in EUR, GBP or another currency
- Which currencies you can get a receiving account in, and whether you can open one where you live
- Which payout methods reach a country, what each costs and how long it takes
- Whether a particular bank can be reached
- What a business needs to sign up in its country
- How a currency’s mid-market rate has moved
- Where to find Poplin’s terms, privacy policy and other legal documents
Good to know
- Every quote is an estimate at standard pricing for a new account. The final terms are shown in the Poplin app before you confirm anything.
- Rate history shows the mid-market rate before fees. It isn’t a forecast.
- Through this address, the assistant can’t see anyone’s account or move money. You sign up and make every payment in the Poplin app.
- What your assistant does with your questions is governed by its provider’s terms. What Poplin receives and keeps is in section 3.4 of our Privacy Policy.
Already have a Poplin account?
You can let an assistant read your personal Poplin account, so you can ask it things like “Has my payment arrived?” or “Do you need anything else from me to verify my account?”
In any assistant that lets you add a connector by its address, add:
https://mcp.poplinmoney.com/account
The assistant opens Poplin’s sign-in, and you approve the connection with your passkey.
- Connect on a computer, in a web browser or the assistant’s desktop app. Signing in from an assistant’s phone app may not work.
- Personal accounts only. A business account can’t be connected.
- What it can see: your balance, your payments and other activity (including the names of people you pay or are paid by, but not their full account numbers), whether we need anything more to verify you, and your notifications about payments and verification.
- What it can’t do: send money or change anything. It never sees full account numbers, passwords, passkeys, recovery codes or identity documents.
- Staying in control: we notify you each time an assistant is connected. Disconnect one at any time under Connected assistants in the app. A connection also ends one year after you approve it. Disconnecting stops new access straight away. It doesn’t remove what the assistant already received, so use the assistant’s own controls for that, such as deleting chats or memories.
- Once connected, the assistant’s provider handles what it receives under its own terms. Section 3.4 of our Privacy Policy says what that means, including for residents of the EEA and UK.
