What does a business need to open an account?
To open a business account, we verify the company — a Know Your Business (KYB) review at signup. Every business provides the same five things. What each document is called depends on the registry that issued it, so for 74 countries this page lists local names.

What every business provides
- Proof your business exists One document: certificate of incorporation / formation, business register extract, or articles of association / organization. What it is called depends on your registry — see the table below.

Depending on the business, we may also ask for a certificate of good standing, an ownership chart, a register of directors, or a statement of money in and out — and a financial institution for its anti-money-laundering policy.

What documents does a business need to open a Poplin account?
