This Risk Disclosure Notice (“Disclosure”) is provided by Maash Inc. (“Maash,” “we,” “us”, “our”) to help you understand the key risks involved when using our self-custodial services, digital wallet product, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Disclosure does not replace applicable laws or detailed terms governing our Services but serves to ensure your awareness of the most significant risks.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept the risks described herein.
Maash Is Not a Bank
- Maash is not a bank, deposit-taking institution, broker-dealer, or investment adviser.
- Maash does not hold customer fiat funds or provide insured banking products.
- Maash is not an FDIC-insured depository institution, and FDIC deposit insurance covers only the failure of an insured depository institution. Services are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), or any other government agency.
Self-Custody of Digital Assets
- You retain sole authority to authorize transactions from your self-custodial wallet, secured by your passkeys and a recovery code. No transaction can be authorized without you.
- Maash cannot access, recover, freeze, or reverse transactions in your wallet.
- If you lose access to your passkeys and recovery code, restoring access requires a strict, identity-verified process with our wallet-infrastructure provider and is not guaranteed. No recovery process gives Maash the ability to move or spend your funds.
- The cryptographic key that authorizes transactions from your wallet is generated and held, in shares, by our wallet-infrastructure provider. Maash never holds that key and cannot sign on your behalf.
- Reaching your wallet requires both the Maash platform and that provider to be operating. If either becomes unavailable, your access to your assets may be interrupted or lost, and Maash may be unable to restore it.
Blockchain Transaction Finality & Transparency
- Transactions on the Solana blockchain are permanent, irreversible, and public.
- Maash has no ability to reverse or modify any activity once submitted.
- Activity, addresses, and transaction history may be visible on-chain indefinitely.
Volatility and Financial Risks
- The value of digital assets may fluctuate significantly and unpredictably.
- The performance of yield products (if applicable) is not guaranteed.
- You should not use the Services unless you understand and can bear the risk of loss, including the total loss of digital assets.
- Maash does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
Third-Party Providers
- We integrate third-party payment processors, liquidity providers, and on/off-ramp services.
- These providers are independent entities with their own terms and risk structures.
- Maash is not responsible for their performance, solvency, or agreements.
Regulatory & Operational Risks
- The legal and regulatory environment surrounding digital assets continues to evolve.
- You are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- Your access to the Services may be restricted, suspended, or terminated to comply with applicable laws or regulatory guidance.
No Guarantee of Service Availability
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation of the Services.
- System outages, maintenance, blockchain network delays, or cyber incidents may impair access or functionality.
By continuing to use the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Risk Disclosure and No-Bank Notice.
